Opening Weekend is just a few short days away and I wanted to connect with all of you one last time and share a few important details to you:
For all those receiving this email, your club has contacted me and has reserved a time for track laps. The schedule is quite full on Saturday, with only a hand full of clubs attending Sunday. Because the track is open to the public on Saturday too, we will do our best to accommodate them in between club laps. Through this whole new weekend schedule, I thank you in advance for your patience through any hiccups we may encounter.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
We ask that you please arrive through Gate 3 located off County Rt 16 (Between the main Gate 2 and the Ticket office/ Credentials gate at 4a). This is to better accommodate your group through the waiver process and avoid back up on County Rt 16. You will then be directed around through the tunnel and you can follow the signs to the Garage Area.
PARKING
Clubs will stage out of the Garage Paddock together. If you wish to remain at the track once all of your laps are completed, we ask that you park in the South Paddock or any of the support lots around the facility to avoid congestion from the clubs arriving after your reservation time in the garage area.
TRACK LAPS
3 lap session for $25. 6 laps for $50 – 3rd session of 3 laps FREE.
You can pay for your laps when you arrive at the Garage entrance. Cash will be preferred!
IMPORTANT: Groups will only be able to run no more than 6 laps in one on track session. For those taking advantage of the free 3rd session, it will be fit in as best as the schedule allows, but within reason to your reservation time. If your club has prior plans following your laps, we can make arrangements day of to best accommodate your schedule.
FREE BREAKFAST
For those who RSVP’d for Saturday’s Breakfast, this will take place at 9am in the Media Center. You can park your cars in the Garage Area and Walk over to the building.
TRACK CONDITIONS
As a friendly reminder, we will run the LONG COURSE with the boot on opening day. Please make sure your club members are aware of this –
Also, we are currently in the process of many track improvements, not limited to, additional concrete and paved run off areas, new safer barriers, removal of tire barriers and gravel traps. Beware of your first circuit around the facility as land marks you may have used in the past might no longer be there –
MOVING FORWARD
We look forward to a great weekend and thank you in advance for your participation. Feedback following the weekend is encouraged so we can continue to grow this enjoyable event!
