Earlier this week Ford Racing gave a sneak peek of a new concept car they would be debuting at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, and now we have the first live photos of the car…sort of. SEMA doesn’t kick off until tomorrow morning, but we managed to snap some early photos of the concept car under cover at the Ford display that is still under construction. We were tempted to pull the covers off to get a quick look, but resisted the urge and will wait until tomorrow to find out what’s underneath.
Of course, there’s nothing to stop us from guessing what the concept car is, and we’re sticking with our theory of a new EcoBoost Mustang given the colors of the hood stripe that could be seen on the teaser image. Taking into account that the car cover is a giant checkered flag, the concept may very well be a race car as well. Perhaps a new twin-turbo Mustang Boss 302S or Cobra Jet Mustang?
We’ll find out for sure when Ford Racing officially unveils the car tomorrow morning. Be sure to check back for all the details and live photos.
