The Vanstrom Bros. tag team a PSD Super Duty

[EHA Racing]

This is Shane's truck. It's a 2008 F-250 Super Duty Lariat 4X4 with a 6.4 Power Stroke Turbo Diesel.

The 1st mod, which is still to be completed due to time restraints, is a Horn Blasters Train Horn System with 4 horns, 5 gallon tank, air pump with 150psi capabilities. If you've ever hear these things, you are probably half deaf. We also had an extra port in the tank so we ran an air hose attachment for use at the track.

The next mod was to dump all the emissions crap that chokes the life out of these things. Goodbye convertor, patriculate filter and air box. Hello delete system, AFE air intake, H&S Programmer with EGR delete and trans tune.

The feel of 550hp and over 1,200 ft./lbs. of torque in a full size truck is mind boggling. Shane has yet to upload the "HOT Tune" in it yet which should make it (supposedly) 625 RWHP and 1325 RWTQ.

The programmer has a towing tune. The mid and hot tunes are not recommended for towing. Just for fun!!
And yes, we have a couple race cars and car haulers that get pulled all over. I guess it's time to start modding my 2001 with the 7.3 PSD.

Thats great!!!! If I put those horns in my truck, as soon as I blasted them I would go backwards..... hmmm idea, face them to the back

Screw the dyno LOL. 13.06 @ 106 mph, leaving with 20 psi boost in 4WD. Truck weighs over 9,000lbs with the tool box in the back.
This truck gets driven like a pro street car on a daily basis and so far there have been no issues. Once Shane got used to the HOT tune he never turns it off except to tow.

A friend has a regular cab long box XL with custom SCT tunes, full exhaust, and intake. It is FAST, no 1/4 times yet but have vids of it running 100' drags. He is guessing a 12.2@109 or so it feels faster to me but idk.
