my temp guage is rising to hot then back down while steady driving it also the motor isnt even hot it never did that before could mit be the sensor is going or the thermostat is getting stuck from time to time
Weren't you doing intake/head work recently? Could be trapped air in the cooling system, check that first since it doesn't cost anything to fix. If that's fine, then move on to the thermostat or the gauge sending unit
