WTB tank for a mig welder

Do they have oxygen and acetylene tanks as well?

I am looking for a tank my self, something small and I was wondering if you can use a nitrous bottle for this purpose? I have a nitrous bottle sitting at home and would rather use that (if it is possible/safe) rather than buying a new tank. Anyone know if these are the same? Sorry for the hi-jack Rob

If yo want them to be filled with argon, they need to be pressure rated for at least 2200psi.

Also, they would have to be fully purged. the only problem is finding someone to fill them.

They sell oxygen acetylene tanks also.

I have 4 tanks here that I am bringing to the dump. (2) 40cf and (2) 80cf that were for Oxy acet. I cant find anyone to fill them. Free. they are going to the dump on friday.

I know of a place where they fill them Gregg. They are in the Bronx, near Boston rd and Provost ave. The place is kind of hidden, but I know where it is. Are the tanks in good shape (rust)?

They are in good shape. No rust except some surface. They expired probably back in the 80's .

You are welcome to them if you want. I will even throw in a set of cutting torches.
