Suspension and Looks

Alright so I am definitely getting the Aggressive chin spoiler for my car and a heat extractor hood.

However, I am looking to get parts together to upgrade the suspension this Fall- I have been looking at Eibach Springs because they do not lower the car a lot, only 1.25- and getting eibach struts/shocks because people say they are a common ground between performance ride and stock ride.

What do you guys think??? Open to opinions, etc...!

Why do you need to copy my chin spoiler? I'd be careful with the chin and eibachs...I'm putting steeda ultra lites in soon (actually rob is) those drop 1 inch in the front and 1 3/4 in the rear.

LOL... I'm copying it because I LIKE IT!! a lot actually. I think it really gives a good look to the car.

That's a much less drop then the eibach's, I may have to look into those. I just do not want the car to bottom out either on streets or bumps.

I would definitely match the shocks to springs, I didn't and the ride suffered a little. I have the eibach pro kit and waiting for the scratch to do the shocks struts.

Also look into an adjustable panhard bar, rear LCA's, and camber caster plates, you might be able to get away with camber bolts, not sure though.

I have heard that matching the shocks to springs is a must!

I was definitely thinking of doing the Caster Camber Plates just to be on the safe side. But I am not sure if that is overkill for only a 1 - 1.25 drop.

I've always heard the stockers are good for a 1-1.5" drop before you 'need' CC plates. but you should get them anyway so you dont burn a set of tires with a shoddy alignment.


and get wheels before drop!

you should try and match as many of your suspension components as possible. ie... roush swaybars struts shocks springs control arms. not eibach springs with roush swaybars and mmr control arms etc...

Nothing will really happen but springs can sometimes take a toll on your stock struts/shocks... However, since your lowering your car only a little like I am going to do.. It should not be a huge deal. The only reason I am replacing struts/shocks is because mine are bad and have a lot of miles on them!

Schweet.....looks like the springs are going in on Thursday Also, if you need advice or anything with the chin install let me know. It wasnt all that hard....but it took longer than I thought it would due to some tricky angles that you need to cut off of the stock chin.

you might also want to tighten your chassis up some with a g-trac bar and a strut tower brace... just a thought

I dont think they need CC plates.........as far as I know at least
