Took it all apart for some new bearings and rings and pistons...

....and found this...

And the piston from that cylinder....

Moral of the story is I got swindled.

How much did you pay for that? If it was me I would take the bloack and leave it on his front porch! and scatter the rest of the parts throughout his property.

I paid $200. I would love to have that Ford Racing motor, just a few thousand short...lol

Unless I hear it run I never buy an assembled motor. If I just want it for a rebuild it better be in pieces when I get it. Friend of mine bought a SBC on the interweb and had it shipped. When he got it, it was a block with heads, valve covers and an oil pan. There was no valve train or rotating assembly in the motor. He was told it was ready to run.

I have a complete 90 motor that ran perfect and have a vid of it running I might sell. It is 100% stock HO motor still has original plug wires and still has original clutch! Complete with wiring all on the motor, accesories, etc.
