should i take the power steering off my car???

my pump is not working correctly and i'm getting ready to put the car away anyways I was thinking why not just get rid of the power steering pump, get a electric fan and a electric water pump and only use the belt for altenator and crank is that a good idea????? i did drove the car regularly before putting it away for winter

yes, its not too bad at all, buy a manual rack or fill the rack with fluid and loop the lines

It's a tuff call. Depending on how much you use the car. I took mine off but don't drive it everyday. It will give you added power and takes weight off the front end.

I don't run a belt for the water pump. I just use one for the alt and crank pulley. I had to move it to the otherside because of the turbo kit and heat it gives off. Move the alt to the other side to be it cooler.

yeah i might as well get a electric water pump and just run the belt on the alternator and crank pulley do i have to fill the rack with fluid and loop the lines or can i just take it off and let the fluid leak out and be done with it?

Take it off, it aint bad at all. You'll notice it below 5mph, but the workout is good for ya!
