Ok I'm impressed and I know you die hard Gear Bangers think of Auto's as whimpy whimpy whimpy, and ok maybe it's the easy way out when drag racing. BUT a properly built auto can be just as fun as a stick and in some cases have advantages. Plus lets face it those vids are NOT your stock run of the mill standard transmissions and there's electronics involved
For racing I prefer a Built Auto but then again I'm one of those once in a blue moon racers so it's just easier and I can be more consistent without having to spend a ton. To be in the league your showing we're talking full suspension, axles, special transmissions, shifters, electronics etc...

Last time I took a Supercharged Stang to the track with a stick I embarrassed myself all day long. Couldnt launch it worth a chit and it just smoked the tires the entire track no matter how easy I left or shifted...

But with an Auto I have NEVER had a problem launching
(even with 780 RWHP and 100% stock suspension with a set of QA1's)
All I'm saying is DONT rule out a GOOD Built Transmission
