I mean this is a good looking car and all, but I don't think it deserves the "super snake title"
The Super Snake was started in 2007 and was basically a GT500 turned up to 11. The 2015 Super Snake doesn't fit the bill and feels like they're trying to push out a car with a nameplate that sells. Not including the Shelby 1000, this nameplate is/was the top dog nameplate in terms of power. The motor in general was completely different than the in house offerings of normal production models. This kind of puts it in the same league as Roush, Saleen, and Hennessey (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), but shouldn't have used the nameplate "Super Snake".
What they should have done was waited till next year and use the new 5.2 which is currently unique to the Shelby versions. Make a GT500 with a reasonable sized blower. Then as a 2017 model year, throw a larger blower on there and similar tweaks as with previous models. Then tie it up with a special package and market it as a 10th Anniversary edition.
I've gotta say though, the response from aftermarket for the new generation is crazy quick.
