Really confused and hope you can help!

okay heres the deal....bought my clutch & flywheel last month and thought i had it right but now im second guessing myself?

I have a 2003 mustang GT:

on centerforces website it says if the 8th digit in the vin # is X then it has and 8 bolt so this is what i purchased

Centerforce Clutches

but now i heard that even with the X in the vin it could be a 6 bolt?
and on top of that the 6bolt flywheel is externaly balanced?

HELP. considering i want to be able to ship it back to summit and exchange as soon as possible if i made a mistake.

So if i have a X for the 8th digit the 8 Bolt is what i have?

As far as all my research.....................Yes! you have an 8 bolt. This was through search engines, part numbers etc..
