Hey Joe. Since you installed the blower on my car in May, the car has been running great. As you know I have CX Racing intercooler sitting in a box, waiting for me to install it. This is going to be my winter project, but I would also like to do some other things to the car as well. The very first mod I did on the car (when I purchased it in 2002) was welding a couple of Flowmaster 40 series mufflers on the stock pipes. The exhaust I have is MAC long tubes, offroad H-pipe, then the flowmasters welded into the stock pipes. I was thinking about purchasing a cat back system to 'complete' the exhaust. I probably will get yelled at from some of the members here, but I would really like to get a Flowmaster American Thunder cat back. Basically the same mufflers, but bigger pipes. I love the sound of my car and really do not want to change it. I am NOT doing this for sound, rather for performance.
My question is will this make much of a difference? Should I even bother doing this? I'm on the cusp right now with the stock internals pushing 421 rwhp, and I will also be installing the intercooler so the last thing I want to is push my stock motor past the limit.
Sorry for rambling.
Thanks,
Mike
