ProCharger has announced that their revolutionary new i-1 supercharger system is now available for the Ford Mustang Boss 302. The world’s first adjustable ratio supercharger, the i-1 boasts cockpit-controlled programmable boost and an optional touchscreen, and drivers can switch between three supplied performance modes or input a custom mode of their own.
The result is improved performance at lower rpm without lag or falloff at higher rpm, and ProCharger says the system will add approximately 200 rear wheel horsepower to the Mustang’s 5.0-liter V8 with 7.5 psi of boost. Customers can expect quarter mile improvements of 1.4-1.8 seconds and 13-20 mph.
Retail pricing has yet to be announced, but ProCharger says to expect a premium of about $2,000 above their standard P-1SC-1 system.
