Once i get over 71-72 miles per hour.. whenever i even TOUCH the gas pedal, i hear some sort of whistle... I`m thinking maybe the fuel pump ? But the sound is there only at 70+ mph so it`s kinda weird... this is the mechanical part...

now i have some pictures of other problems and that i found... ill post them up soon.

Does anyone have a clue about that whistling sound ? it really pisses me off cuz i always drive at 75 mph on the highway and it`s annoying...

SEcond problem: My headlights have something on them.. NO FREAKING CLUE WHAT IT IS. I tried sand paper, i tried buffing, i tried scratchout... nothing works. Pictures:







THat gray thingy is the problem... can`t get it out. I was thinking maybe it`s some sort of glue maybe the previous owner had those smoked covers for the headlights..and he took them off.. but covering just the front would look like shit so he would have probably done the back too.. but there`s no problem with the taillights..

Problem #4

I was driving in VERY VERY strong rain, i was about to stop driving cuz i could barely see 10 feet ahead. After i got to pennsylvania i went to wallmart, it was just drizzling a little. When the wipers moved, i heard a CLICK sound... then when i got back home i was checking them out.. when i lifted the one on the passenger side... it fell off =\ ( cought it in time, didn`t scratch the hood. PICTURES:





It`s that small clip that connects the wiper with the leg... it cracked ...

Summary.

Problem #1 : Whistling sound. What is it and can i get rid of it ?
Problem #2 : Headlights... how can I get rid of that thing ? If possible...
Problem #3 : Can/ Should i buy a rubber thingy ? If yes, where can i find one ( i don`t know how it`s called so i can`t google it )
Problem #4 : I have to change the whole system of wiper ( with the leg ) or just the thing with the blade ?

It seems like i`ll be having a GT / cobra pretty soon... I`m making good money this summer and i`m gonna get paid double what i was getting paid untill now starting september + i`m gonna have an extra hour everyday :D

#1 Probably something very small you dont have to worry about.

#2 Mine has the same SH*T. Not a good Idea to use sand paper on them.

#3 Is only a WEATHER STRIPING. Tons of places sell it. Or just cut the piece off. Its not harming anything.

#4 New blades would be good. Those look like junk anyways.

What is it like a squeeling, like your drive belt or like a whine?

Problem #2
It looks like you may have got some condensation on the inside of the headlights. If this is true you can take them out and let them sit in the sun for a couple of hours and the condensation should evaporate but personally I would get new headlights. When you do make sure that you seal them with some clear epoxy.

Problem #3
It's weather stripping and its not that hard to do, they are just some christmas tree pins that you just push into the holes that are provided. If you wash your car and there are no leaks in your trunk then you can just leave it or snip it if you don't really like it

Problem #4
New blades hopefully but if it rains and you can see and they clean the windshield with no streaks or marks and it just fell off maybe a new wiper arm would be instore.

1- explain more. ots of things can whine.

2-ford film of light. it does that. either wetsand, or get new lights. smoked CC's from AM look good.

3-meh. cut it off. spray that area directly with hose. water get in? no? fuck it, moving on....

4- get a new wiper clip. any auto place will most likely just give you one. or if you need new wiper blades, it will ahve them.

damn it i told them to silence it :(.

Lol if there were any leaks from that rubber my trunk should be a swimming pool right now.. cuz it`s like that on both sides and it never got wet.

WOuldn`t wetsanding scratch the headlight/paint close to the headlight ?

It doesn`t sound like a belt... It`s not from the tires... And i think ( i`m not sure ) the sound comes in after i drive for a while at high speed... after that whenever i touch it it whistles... not exactly a whistle.. it`s like a high-pitched moan, like a cat ... hard to explain =\

25,211.1 Miles. ( I just checked when i got back home today lol ).

It`s like a squeel yeah.. whining squeeling sound.... no one here ever had this ? If someone did, i`m sure he knows what i`m talking about. it`s frekaing hard to describe sounds =\.

I hope it`s not the differential ... $$$$$ :(.

I don`t feel any vibrations, shakes or loss of control or whatever... cur runs perfectly good, just that sound ..

We have a Ford Van at work and I was driving it back from the city and I heard a little squeel or something when I tapped the pedal but I only heard it once. Of corse the van has colse to 400,000 miles on it and is a Powerstroke Diesel (which is good for Glueeyes since I think his truck has a powerstroke diesel the 400,000 miles that is).
