powerdyne like or dont like?

does any one who has or had a powerdyne 9psi kit like it I just bought one and wanted to hear everyones comments on them

I have a BD11A on my 94 Lightning and so far so good. I just use it for towing and get around 6 pounds of boost out of it. You will like it!

Alot of people hate them, but I had a 93 GT that was basically stock other than exhaust and the 9lb kit with no power pipe and ran 12.77@111. I saw 7lbs roughly. 3.27 gears and Nitto 555R with a 1.9 60ft. Make sure you don't over-tighten the belt and that you run a bypass and they are usually ok. This same SC ran 10.81@126.7 in my friends car as well.

sweet now alls I have to do is get the right brackets or find some one that has a kit they want to trade for this one these brackets are for the 94 talked to powerdyne I can get full kit of them for like 700

I had GREAT luck with my Powerdyne SC!!! ...I ran a best of 11.23 @ 122mph with a 9# kit, STOCK Cam, Edlebrock heads, Cobra Intake & 3.55 gears in my 1991 Mustang GT!!

...and was a blast on the streets! GL!!

My car was totally stock so I just used a 12:1 FMU with stock injectors. What are your mods now?

NO WAY I'd pay $700 for the brackets though, look for some used. Ebay or Corral.

24# injectors will get you in the low 12's high 11's with a Fox body Mustang (350 rwhp area)

i can vouch for this car. it was a beast, definately one of the best running powerdyne cars. that was around

My friend was running 30lbers in his 93 LX when he ran the 10.81@126 with the Powerdyne. That was with no FMU and he cranked the fuel pressure with a AFPR. This was back in the 90's though too. I'll have to find some pics of his car, it was mean for what it was. Stock T-5 that managed to hold up and never died, even with 6000rpm clutch dumps and 1.4x 60fts lol.

Need a set of heads if any one has some gt-40s for sale let me know also if any one sees the brackets for the powerdyne that would be sweet cant wait

No they are completely different, nothing is the same.

Yea, its just one bracket. My friend had one on his 94 GT.

I cant belive how hard it is to find this mounting kit looked every where powerdyne is basicly out of bussiness so no one carryies them any more

Just stick that complete kit up for sale on all the forums and then buy a foxbody kit, thats the best bet.

i had a powerdyne on my 91 gt with 150 zex nos.loved it only prob dont use underdrive pulleys and dont overtighten belt.mine had to have a 9lb pulley to make about 7 psi.just sold the car to a friend n mis it.goin with pro charger on my 83.good luck.
