Plugs and Wires

Alright well here we go again got some more gift cards and money this weekend and buying plugs and wires what's my best bet for my 2003 v6 conv. I have the gears exhaust and cai so just looking for more power also let me no guys

Your not going to gain a whole lot of power if any from new spark plugs and wires but you may notice a slight increase in MPG. You can go with the motorcraft plugs and wires or you can live wire wires and I hear that e# makes good spark plugs but so does champion ... You cant really go wrong whatever route you go with.

When you do the plugs, make sure you gap them correctly! I gained over 100hp by gapping my plugs correctly. No bs.... LOL

Factory. There is no reason to upgrade the ignition- the guys running 600+ on these cars still use the motorcraft parts.

So to save money don't even get plugs just changed wires then ?

no, get original parts- if you need a tuneup, get motorcraft plugs/wires.

Yeah plugs and wires won't really give you any huge performance difference so just go with OEM. If you're changing spark plugs that might be a different story though. Some good iridium plugs will give you more efficient combustion.
