This IS definitely going to happen that weekend. I have a couple more details but still waiting for an email with more info. The show will be at the Super 8. Its not clear if non-club members are eligible for trophies, I'm trying to find that out. Breakfast Saturday morning is in Warrensburg but I don't know the name of the place.

If anyone in the Plattsburgh area can recommend any good hotels let me know. I'm just not crazy about Super 8's...

Hopefully I'll get an email tonight with times, prices, etc..

YES, this is going to happen the weekend of Oct 2,3. Talking to the president of the North Country Mustang Club last night, he said they are tring to get the back parking lot of the A&W, which is just down from Super 8 for the show. The show is not going to be anything big this year, but they want to see if maybe it can turn into a yearly thing. Someone said they did not care for Super 8, well there are many in Plattsburgh on Route 3, Holiday Inn, Days Inn & Suites, Best Western, Quality Inn just to name a couple. So plan on coming and having a good time. As I learn more I will let everyone know.:headbang:

The Crete Civic center parking lot would be perfect for this and it is never used. And it just happens to be right acrost the road from a Super 8.

We have a winner. Just had to quote my self to show it off, lol. Not a bad spot really but at the same time, it's not the most busy place around town either. There is a gas station right in front of it and an A&W burger place about 300 feet down the road. It is also very easy to get to from the interstate.

There's about 10 other places to stay about 5 miles from that Super 8. Right in the middle of Plattsburgh there are a bunch of places.

Cant wait for the rest of the details Dawn, once you know/remember were the location of breakfast is let me know I figure thats were me and any local to me members will be jumping in ....

Also I take it ALL of you far Northern members will make this show right!!??!?!?! :headbang:

Yes! Congrats! :clap: lol! I've been researching some places that look pretty good. I'll probably go with Microtel but I'll list them with the rest of the details when I get them.

Plattsburgh peeps..I think we're going to have some time in the afternoon Saturday becuase I'm thinking we'll be there about 01:30 so do we want to meet up and do a photo shoot? Any cool places up there, waterfalls, gorges, etc?? You know how we love our photos. :evil:

Also, Sunday morning breakfast is open so if you guys want to recommend a place we can meet up for breakfast and cruise to the show together. :headbang:

The trees start to turn colors here right at the end of August depending on the weather. By the time the car show gets here in October it would look like dead grass and bare trees. I'm not sure it will matter where you get a group photo. I can think of a couple of places that would be great this time of year but not sure how good they would be in October.

Sounds like the sewage treatment plant should be perfect if you just need some water in the background. :evil:
