the pioneers are way better than the j.l's anyway.... y do u need the shallow mount? if i were you i would get some dc sound lab lvl 1 or 2's

Even still, Im not spending anywhere close to that. Im talking like 100-150 a sub.

And I want shallow mount because I want to mount them inside the car somewhere. Not in the trunk

why not get its called a rockford fosgate p3slim its on bestbuy.com website and it has 400 watts rms its 1 12" and its a pretty decent price if your interested shoot me a pm i work at best buy in levittown long island and i could prob help you out on a price too, with one of those you should be fine 400 watts rms is pretty good. Let me know Bro i love rockfords subs i have had them in my car since i was 16

crap. I cant manage to think of any way to get the bass into my car with the top down. It sucks. I cant take out my rear seat. Any ideas?

the good kind.... i used to sell them every day... now i sell pioneer... To tell you the truth memphis shallows are the best untill diamond audio completes their prototypes... shallows arnt made for thump their for s.q j.l doesnt know much about s.q their a wanna be spl company.. i personally run cadence diamond and dc sound lab.. (used to run kove) rockfords subs are made cheaply IMHO.. their amps are top of the line (best of the best) but then again you pay an arm and a leg for them.. http://www.dcsoundlab.com/woofers.html
look at them not as shallow.. but they sound better than any other company out right now.. and if you want prices let me know..

when i had my vert, i had two bazooka tubes with a 1600 watt amp. i heard the bass clear as day with the top down. i just adjusted the bass on the radio up to the max whenever i put the top down

i know someone that has a ragtop jeep and was able to hit 150dB... only took 2 18s and 5k watts too lol.. he was doing something right.. the ragtop looked like it was the sub lol the way it flexed..
