performance timing on a 302

i was just wondering who knows what a 302 should be set at for high performance right now im at 13 for base and at 32 for full advanced its on a NA carbed 302 with twisted wedge heads and cam and other bolt ons

anywhere from 12-16 is good for base but base has no value other than starting and idling on a performance motor. you want to run about 36 full advance and if its a street car you can play with the curve but generally you want it to come in fast and before 3000 rpm. What dist. are you running?

Yeah have it come in early and around 34* total is what twisted wedge heads will like.

right now its a vacume advanced msd dist. im probly going to the track this friday night if this damn weather holds up lol. so ill see what it runs with what i got it set at now and then go from there. but i was thinking that i should be able to go a little higher on the full advanced side.
