Okay Ghostly, nothing is worse than a fanboi. I own all 3 systems, have been gaming since before you were a pipe dream in your daddy's pants, so I feel I am qualified to say that each system has its plusses and minuses. In this day and age, TRUE gamers (not ones who whine over which system is better) need to own as many of the systems as they can afford in order to achieve true gaming nirvana. I bought the PS3 for the exclusive titles (MGS, Infamous, Little Big Planet, Drake's) and Blu-Ray. I bought the Wii because of Zelda, Mario and Metroid. I bought the 360 for Oblivion and Halo.
Truth be told, I love them all, but if I had to choose between them, the 360 wins, hands down. Competition is a good thing though, it forces the other companies to innovate. You have no idea how far gaming has come in the over 30 years I've been doing it. There has NEVER been a better time to be a gamer. It is a huge thing that is widely accepted across the board. I can remember a day when saying that you played video games would get you a wedgie and no girl would look at you. Be happy things are they way they are, show some respect and reverence for those who have come before you and suffered so that you can play the games that you do.

First ask what was the first gaming system i used before you assume i just started playing games in the early 2000. My first gaming system was the Commadore 64 which was a floppy 5.5" based system that had no type of harddrive and if you wanted to save your game play data you needed to have another 5.5" floppy to record it. My second system was the original plastic housing with the fake wood panel atari, and then i have both proceeding systems from atari , To note all three system still work and i have 65 functioning game cartridges in my basement.
My next system's are as follow Nintendo Nes , gameboy the first one not the colored one the original, then super nes then the next generation game gameboy. I then went and purchased the ps 1 then i moved onto the ps2 then ps3.
I have played all the xbox systems and don't like any of them, as for you having more knowledge then me on gaming systems and on how far they come i was playing 2 bit games on a monochrome screen.
I am also 27 years old buddy i am pretty sure my gaming knowledge is equivalent to your knowledge of mustangs.
Also the percentage rate i posted is out a gaming maginzine that reports on all gaming consoles it would have been a different story if i pulled the numbers out of a PSM mag instead of the GAME INFORMER mag.
Also your true gamer comment above, if you were to read the thread i made about the epic fail its not about graphics or games just that the hardware has a higher failure rate then any other system for this part of the generation systems. If you want to roll the hard six and see if your system isn't going to be one of the 50%+ that failed within the first year of playing it thats your own problem, i rather relie on a system that has been proven to not fail so much in hardware issues and people say oh its because people don't play there PS3's as much as xbox players thats just a stupid comment on there part. I play my system everyday of the week and play for 12-15 hrs a day when i have nothing to do. I also have one of the original PS3 systems that first came out .
