Mod List so far:
-Swapped in 351C (From 351W)
Stats: .030 over, forged pistons, Lunati Voodoo CAM, Edelbrock: intake, 600 CFM 4bbl, and dual roller timing chain, high volume oil pump (Yeah I know I know), billet Dizzy, Hooker Hedders (LT), and electric fan conversion.
-Swapped in t-5 (From an FMX 3spd auto)
-Custom true dual side exit exhaust
ok now for the project info: last spring I purchased the Voodoo CAM, electric fan, new dizzy, & Coil. The CAM I put in when I originally built the Cleveland (Edelbrock real mild power at 1500 irc) was chewing up dizzy gears. After the second gear was wasted I checked out the old dizzy and found "alot" of vertical play which I figure was my problem ... OK time to get a new dizzy!! well I decided to check out the cam gear and, you guessed it, SHOT ... DAMMIT !!! ok time for a new CAM too ... jump ahead I have the parts I am bustin ass makeing GREAT progress and WHAM ... the shelter I had over the car fill with water, failed, and dumped the water into the engine compartment, into my open intake. The intake sent the water into my heads and into a couple of the cylinders. I found this out right before a trip we were going to take to VIR to watch my Brother-in-law race. SO at 10PM I started the teardown. I had to take the heads off to clean out the cylinders and check everything out. by 12 midnight I had the heads off the water dried out and the block soaked down with oil.
And there she sat just like that until this past weekend. I want to Thank Tim (timspony) for helping me load her up and transporting and Kyle (Kylejb266something something) for the use of his garage. YOU GUYS ROCK !!
