You either have to know someone, or swap to your stock or a catted mid pipe.

How can you know someone when know matter what they have to plug your car into the system?

you need a good tune (chris rose from american muscle) and a place that knows how to do it right. I went to ruges dodge by me and my friend didnt pass me cuz he didnt know how. However, i went to a local guy, he passed me doing it a different way

lololol if ya dont have a cat on your car and its 95 or older ya just have to know a inspector that will pass it if your 96 newer ya need to use a o2 simulator or have it tuned out so it dont rip the c.e.l and still know someone that will inspect it . the biggest problem is that nys and dec raised the fines huge for allwoing inspectors to let shit like taht go . i got lucks on a 06 mustang with dmv on a 05 sti on a dealer car cause the main cat wasnt there but the catted uppipe was on the car so i played dumb and said the cat was right there and he tuned me up fr it and so on but it is doable

i know these guys will do it but they say theres nothing they can do cas it pluggs into the system. If i have a tuner shut them off would i be ok?

Yeah, I didn't notice this was in the 96+ section....it's a little more of a pain to do then 95 and down cars....
