Rocket assist wasn't an option in the brochure!
I'll be happy with low 13's or high 12's. I'm looking forward to lining up across from another Mustang, which always seemed impossible on regular drag days.

Now that I've hopped back on this bandwagon...are we still looking for a hauler for this day? Might be coming down as a spec but either way - if we still need, I can see what I can do about getting one down there. Can't guarantee anything, its the weekend after Super Dirt Week in Syracuse so IDK what I have access to...but will definitely inquire if it would help.

Not these tires, dosnt matter how much air is in them or how much thay are heated up, they just spin SOOO bad on that preped surface. Even if I pull away easy in 1st & dont spin em, when it I hit 2nd they will start to spin again.
I know what I can run w/ the street tires (13.3 @ 107mph w/ a 2.1 60' on Howard's 330 hp tune). The idea of me doing this is to see what the car can do now & street tires dont allow that.
I think my set up will do mid to low 12's or even a very high 11 if some talent is in the drivers seat & tires on the back.
I just want one run on a good set of track tires. If I can find a set on the cheap I will.
I just want one run w/ them, not gonna eat any bodys tires up. I'll even pay "rent" for the run.

frostbyte, what size wheels do you have? I have a pretty beat extra set of 305-35-18" mt's that will last a full day. They were dead hooking on 18psi without even doing a burnout (just cleaning them off) on 600rwhp/ 638rwtq.
btw, heating up street tires are doing nothing but hurting your traction. Street tires need nothing other then being aired down, and a just clean off of the debris from the tred...
on a side note, isnt there a DSM track rental this day as well here?
