well let me start out by saying im new to this site i came over from turbomustangs.com. Im building a 89 notch which started out as a 4cl car. i have built the suspension from every bolt to shock to controll arm it is all lake wood products. i started out planing to build a 351w with a twin turbo set up i bought the parts for the set up and i decided to sell it all and stroke the 351w to a 408 and make a beast of a all motor car. i might add nitrous down the road im not sure yet. for a tranny it will be a c4 with a 3200 stall with full manual reverse valve bodie. the rear end is built with 410 gears. i dont have many pics but i will get them this week when i really jump on it.

thanks, its going to be a ball getting the motor built. cant wait im not sure on hp yet if i build it the way im planing to then maybe 500 wheel if i had to make a gamble

Yeah 408s are some pretty nasty motors. Can't wait to see some more pics!!

oh and im changing the rear end gears to 3.73

Good luck on the buiib. If you need a custom engine built let me know! I'll be finishing up a customers pump gas 408 tomorrow that should make about 550 to 600hp N/A and is set up for spray.

OK well i have some pics of the car to start i dont have many in" progress" pic yet but heres some of the notch.
the motor when i got it was a complete mess then i tore it apart sold most of it and i then took care of the block im building this motor by myself so progress is slow finding time to get turning wrenches also i just moved so its been a little hectic working full time and going to college at night dosnt help much either

build is on pause untill i get some bank account situation under controll someone took a nice vacation from toronto to california on my debit card how they got the numbers i have no clue. my account is on hold untill i get it straightend out.
