New Member with a Confession

Hello from the Albany area,

I just created my membership and already I have a confession to make. I do not currently own a mustang. I used to own an 1984 GT 5 speed with the T-Tops and I really miss it. I do however have a project that is a close relative of the mustang, a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII Bill Blass. It is a fox body car with the 5.0 HO (speed density ) so I figured this board might be a good place to get info and share any of my knowledge/experiences that I can. I've worked on a bunch of different versions of fox bodied cars from 83-89 and as a result I have had to do alot of research about them so if I can any help to anyone else I'd be glad to do it.

Well as far as pictures go I'm afraid at this point she's about as photogenic as she is roadworthy. It's not very good looking right now. This spring/summer I plan to fix her up and make it pretty. I also need to fix the dreaded air suspension and abs systems and a few other little odds and ends. There are only about 71k miles on the clock though so it's well worth it. If you or anyone else hear of anyone parting one of these out or see one in a junk yard please let me know as the parts for these are getting harder to find by the day.

Ok, I put a few pics up. She's desperately in need of a good bit of TLC and she's begging to be driven. Even after sitting for months without any attention I put a battery in and she woke right up. The sound alone could cheer up a mustang lover on even a really bad day.

Thanks, Yea SD is the least of my worries at the moment. Eventually I may look to upgrade to mass air but that will be after I have it roadworthy and probably after an AOD to T5 conversion. But that is also down the road.
