Drove a 2000 V6 5-speed this weekend, took a drive down to Cranford, NJ to see the car. I was pleased with the V6, good low-end, would make a good commuter car for me for sure. What killed this one was the clutch (lots of TOB noise and the cable was hanging up) and the very lived-in interior. It was weirdly optioned, too- no cruise or rear defroster- but it had power windows and locks.
The hunt is on, but progressing slowly. Meantime, I did a new WTB thread that's a lot more clear than my last one lol
