Hey guys and gals, new member from Newburgh here...

I'm the former owner of an Aztec Gold 1997 GT, sold on Ebay to a gentleman in Saugerties in November, 2008.

The 'Stang bug is biting hard again. Currently I tool around in an '03 Focus ZTS 5-speed, it will be sold to make room for another Stang.

When the time comes (in a week or two) I'll do a post highlighting what I'm looking for.

Looking forward to hanging out here. Found out about you guys through the Mustang Club of Orange County.

Thanks again for the warm welcome. Just did the last oil change I plan to do on the Focus, Mobil 1 and Motorcraft filter. Plan is to sell it for no less than 4000, have one of my loans extended by 1500 or so, and find a nice 96-00. I wouldn't mind a 97 or 98 again.

What I had previously: I'd love to hear how the car is doing these days but lost touch with the guy who bought it. All I remember is the guy's name was Mike; he was from Saugerties.

Welcome to nym!! There is someone on the classifieds in here trying to sell a 97 mustang with the PI swap and a rebuilt bottom end. The car looks like its in good shape, you should really check it out.

Just looked at the ad... Definitely a good build with good parts, but it's implied that the car has high mileage ("looking for something with low miles," or something like that) and I'm not sure it can be driven year-round with those mods... (only room for one car... my last GT went through the winter no problem with good snows)

Spotted a white 5-spd 2000 GT on NNJ Craigslist for $3500. Too bad it had almost 170K miles.

I also know of a '98 GT for sale locally- turns out the seller is my neighbor's brother- apparently the car was sold but the buyer hadn't come through with the cash yet. Hoping it falls through... then I can swoop in lol
