Just purchased a base '68 coupe. Straight 6, was 3 different colors of primer, but solid floors and rails and the engine runs fine.
As I will be parking this vehicle on the streets of NYC, the car will be primer black thanks to 12 rattle cans of Rustoleum...RatRod style. Anything nicer is asking for door marks, key scratches and the car being stolen. I'll just have to enjoy the cool lines of the car.
Hope to get some input on installing a power brake booster with the existing drums, power steering and (gulp) a/c, as this will be a daily driver (actually a weekend cruiser to get out of the city).
