Hows it going guys,

I was back in NY this weekend visiting a friend and was getting some gas at a stewarts and a guy pulled in behind me with a car that looks just like mine...even had a little whistle under the hood like man.

Talked to him quick and he told me about the site so I figured I would sign up and take a look as I go to the valley still from time to time.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Cars are nothing too crazy, but they keep me happy.

The 04 I picked up new fresh out of college. Threw a catback on in and an air intake and ran the car a number of times at the track. On stock tires I was running consistent 13.71's @ 101 which I felt was pretty good.

Summer of 09 I finally had pieced together a supercharger "kit" from used parts I had slowly been purchasing. Ended up with a vortech blower and a DIY intercooler that I fabbed up to fit. It has a 3.12 pulley on it with a conservative tune on it. Took it to Chris at EFI to be tuned, was very happy with him. Car put down 398hp/37Xft-lb torque.

I have run it a number of times with the blower now. I have tried two sets of diff. drag radials running a best time of 13.0X @ 111. I have only hit up Epping drag strip on street nights where track prep is not that great. My sixty foot times were all in the 2.1 range still. I was running 1.9's on my stock good years so I know I have room for improvement on the launch with better prep.

Right now the rear end is stock tho so I am not too worried about throwing something sticky on there.

The notch...well its not the prettiest thing...but its reliable and I enjoy is...simply because its a notch. Its only a 4 banger, but gets decent mileage and is too underpowered to break anything.

I'm tempted to take the ride back to NY this weekend for the cruise...depends how much stuff I get done this week I guess...
