Hello all,
First I'm from France and I came to the US 2 years ago.
I'm a car guy, both modern and vintage one. You can see here all the cars I had
Being in the US, I had to have one of this great American Muscle Car we dream in Europe. I was looking for a 69 Camaro or a Mustang but Camaro were too expensive.
So i decide to go with a 67 convertible with a GT package and a manual transmission.
As always, I should have register to this forum BEFORE buying the car, to have advices but it's always the same story... :smash:
* The engine is a 302 and not a 289 as I thought
* Manual transmission is not Better than the automatic one, at least on american muscle cars
but otherwise the car was nice. She had a full restoration few years ago and I decide to add disks brake (the original drum brakes don't stop, they only slow the car), new front linking, power brakes, wooden steering wheel, change some chrome, new 4 tires, front shocks, clutch kit...
The car is currently in my mechanic's place to "upgrade" to a 4 barrels carburators and swap the Huster shifter to the original shifter.

Last month, I post the car on ebay to see if i was able to trade it for "something else". I don't want to sale it because my wife won't allow me buy another car (I already have a porche speedster replica and a 65 supercharged beetle)
My car receive a lot of attention and I had some interseting proposals like a tribute chevelle 454, a 72 Firebird, a 55 Ford F100 (my favourite but the color was too much.. :-( ), a 88 Camaro convertible, 3 or 4 different Harley Davidson
Anyway, exept for the F100, nothing was really exiting so as you can see I kept the Mustang...
And now here are the pictures:
