new headlights = new problem?

I got new headlights and I noticed that fog lights don't work anymore. Now... idk if its after the headlights or before cuz I haven't touched the stang in a week :/

Any clues?

Edit: they both worked before. It would ve some weird shit if both burned out at the same time.

Edit 2: they don't work from thealarm either. When I locked kt, with the honk the turnsignals and fog lights turned on

have you ****ed around with the wiring?

remved the center console?

sounds like your switch is boned. installing new headlights shouldbe be a problem...unless you ganked the wiring harness

All I did was unplug the bulbs and pluggd them back in the new headlights.

when you switch on the fogs, does the little light on the switch light up? The switch in the console isn't directly connected to the fogs, rather its used to trip a relay for the fogs. You can make the switch always hot by rewiring the hot side into the convertible wiring right next to it which is hot when the car is in acc, run and running (so you can use it when the lights are on high still or when they are off)

IF that doesn't work check the relay that turns on the fogs along with all the fog fuses.

The light in the switch never worked. Bought the car like that. I took the car to the shop they told me the previous owner put a wrong bulb in and it was drawing too much power and it got burnt out. Now I they work, but they`re taking water in so I need to change them.

I tried to take them out to reseal them but those ****ers are in there really good..

on my first day off I have to take the dashboard apart so I can find a rattling piece of plastic and to see wtf is wrong with the light in the fog switch..

gonna be a loooong day.
