New Guy from Webster, NY

Hi, my name is Roy.

I bought my first Mustang back in November, and am loving it. A nice 2004 GT, 5 speed, with 22,000 miles. It's stock, but I plan on making a few basic performance mods.

I just put a K&N CAI on it this weekend, and am considering a throttle body spacer. I have seen a couple of reviews, both negative, and positive, as to the benefits, if any for doing this. Your comments, and suggestions, will be appreciated.

Also, looking to tune the car as well. How much does this cost, and where are the best places to go to have this done?

Hey Roy! Glad to see another Mustang owner in the Rochester area!

I agree with jricky917 on the throttle body spacer, don't bother. Best advice on your car is to get a tune, cat-back, intake and gears. All the rest of the mods out there aren't worth it unless you want to dump money in that 2V. Eventually, just supercharge it and be done with it. I recommend Adam: TheTunerGuy, he lives in Penfield. He does street tunes and is a SCT dealer.

BTW, post up some pics of that ride!! From the profile pic, that red color looks sweet.
