C C5vette™ Member Dec 12, 2008 #9 Dec 12, 2008 #9 thanks, the rims used to be polished aluminum, but they were faded and looked like crap. so i sanded down the wheels with 600 and put 3 cans of low gloss black engine enamal on each wheel......still look brand new almost a year later now....
