So tell me what you like? believe it or not, I kind of like the way my stock sounds but would like it a little louder. I like the deep tone to it. I like the way the Flows sound. I also like the SSS Exhaust system made completely of 304 SS. For 379.00 it's a steel. I s/w someone at the company and he said it was a cross between Flows and Bassini? His car is the one in this link. Check it out like let me know what you think?

From your first three sentences, you want a standard Magnaflow setup. Trust me. :awesomework:

Magnaflow makes a great exhaust that is SS. Check out Mustangexhaust.com for all the sounds clips and pick the one you like best. A standard set of speakers does make it harder to judge the sounds, but if you have a decent little set with a sub you should get a good idea of what you like.

Use Jegs or Summit as they reputable and will price match anyone. That way it is a good product, decent price, and a very reliable company.

I checked out the Exhaust clips on that site. It seems many of the cars were modified with x/o pipes and I want stock H with cat backs. I might go for the SSS, screw it. I found another Mustang forum where some guys with S197's installed them and they talked about how great they sounded..real deep and no Drone. The pictures they posted of them on the car were real hot.

I have the SSS cat back with a BBK O/R X. I get lots of comps for it. It's loud though when on it. At cruising it's louder than I want, but I'm going to fix that soon. Give me a pm for more info.

The sound primarily comes from the car not the mufflers. There will be variations depending on which brand of exhaust you use, but "similar" nonetheless. I have heard very few mustangs that sound bad.

I installed an SSS catback on my buddy's mach 1. Fitment was decent. Had problems with the left pipe over the axle. Angle is a little off. Plan on making new brackets for the tailpipes as the stock ones are flimsy. We have had nothing but problems with them. I will say however it sounds great!! I am sure you will be more than happy.
I agree SilverSpy0, SLP is my least favorite, although the LM2 is ok.

well i got my exhaust installed today from a friends muffler shop. the install took appox 2.5-3.0 hours for mid and cat. he did some welding on the very last hanger to strengh them up like scotts99snake suggested. no prob having a conversation in cabin. feels like a diff car and almost sinister when u let into the go pedal lol. if i can find a decent camera ill get vid.

maybe I should weld in the sss mufflers and keep my stock cat, which by the way are like new. I really like they way my stock pipes look. For some reason they seem to fit so nicely. I did hear some clips of Dynomax ulta flow mufflers and they sounded nice too.
