New color of my car.

Anyway!
Changed the color of my car. Did it ALL myself with a buddy following me to make sure extension cord would not rub on the car.

All comments welcome good or bad. I do not expect everyone to like it, nor it is a perfect job. I ordered 2 more gallon of paint and will add few more coats because there are some spots that are not perfect. However for this being my first ever project of this magnitude involving painting a large surface i am very pleased!

Now just have to wait for my wheels to get repaired and returned to me, add few more coats with pearl and once i'm back from training late august i'm down for most local shows and drag strip!

Anyway!

Here are few pics. (i want a different spoiler in the future)

P.S.
Exhaust was an accident lol! We forgot to mask it off and noticed after i sprayed it few time which at that point was a little bit late.

What do you guys think about it being as it is? I kind of like it, but most of my friends do not lol...
So, should i keep it this way for now at least, or should i change it back to flat black?

Pretty bold to paint a newer mustang first time, you got balls. I think it came out good from the pics I'm a fan of flat black but I think this is different if you like it keep it its your car do what you want to it!
In another year when mine is payed off I would love to try to paint it!

I would spray it a couple of more times and hit it with the pearl and see what it looks like. As it currently sits, it kind of looks like a pumpkin lol.

Not West Coast Customs . The car I am refering to was not made by a major customizer at all. This wrap, I have seen but on a HYUNDAI GENISIS COUPE. :beer:

As already stated, definitely ballsy. I thought this was plasti dip at first. Regardless, love orange and flat colors so I think it looks great! :awesomework:

Did we establish what color it is ? And that it's painted and not dipped, right ?
I know nothing about painting cars ..... but 2 MORE gallons ?
How much paint does it take to paint a car ?
I like different colors and I like ghost flames :headbang:

I think it looks fantastic...add some more paint and a gloss and you will have the ladies flaunting your way......haters gonna hate right?

Well i'm back from some training and now ready to hit the car with few more gallons to make the color pop more. Moreover my TF wheels will be fixed by the end of september so hopefully i'll be able to get at least a month of decent weather out of the car with nice wheels on it :)

So just everyone is aware the car is PLASTI DIPPED, the original color is Koi Orange. BUT, pearl pigment that was added made it lighter so now this is not an exact Koi Orange anymore lol....

P.S. Yup did it all for the ladies, lol Orange as they is a very sexy color :)
