Need supercharger help!!!

I have a big issue and hope someone here can help.. here is the story....

I bought a used supercharger set up from a 1997 4.6l gt with the performance improved heads. I am trying to mount it to my 2002 gt. The system is installed and fit fine the issue is that the crankshaft pulley will not fit on my harmonic balancer (the hole locations and depth are not the same) and powerdyne is out of business and I dont know what to do at this point... Am i screwed?? is there a fix for this?? please help, thanks!

thanks for the input but my back luck continues they were not able to help. does anyone know why you can buy an aftermarket balancer that will fit 96-04 but an oem replacement has two different part numbers?

Thats sucks. I thought they would have had something. Best bet would be to make a thread on Corral or stangnet like you did here. Those forums are for the whole country so you may have someone with one in there garage or something. Good luck man!

Do you have an underdrive pulley or the stock crank pulley?

I need to see a picture of the crank pulley you have and the add-on crank pulley for the supercharger. Then I might be able co come up with some answers for you.

The reason most of the aftermarket underdrives fit any year is due to the fact it is the whole balancer and all and not a piggyback setup. I had a 4.6 Powedyne kit and it is different because it uses a piggyback pulley and is driven off it's own belt vs. using the serpentine like the Vortech/Paxton kits. Everyone else makes a reverse rotation but Powerdyne didn't, same with the old SN ball drive Paxton kits.

i finally got the crank pulley on by switching to a 97 harmonic balancer, had to order a belt for it but other than that it is done. thanks all for your advice its much appreciated.
