*Need expertise* PVC valve to vacuum tree?

87-93 stang, Connecting the pvc valve to vacuum tree (s/c) would this cause any problems as a drop in vacuum in any component connected to to the vacuum tree or flow oil to other vacuum lines??, Or not enough vacuum for pvc valve? I know it should connect under the intake manifold but I want to re route to the vacuum tree.

well let me try to help,,,i dont have a vacc log on mine anymore,i removed cause i only have the line to the brake booster,everything else is plugged,i dont see why not because the vaccum line is connected to the log anyway so id imagine that vaccum wouldnt be affected,but i dont know for sure,,,some one who know should chime in,i dont want to see u go unanswered tho,,maby try it and see iif it effects idle,,

thanks for your opion, am building a fox stang over the winter and there's a few things am doing diff.

maby get rid of it like i did,,,i only have the booster,,all others were elimintated,,its a cleaner look,,good luck with ur build

If your talking about the PCV valve (Small valve that goes in the valve cover or rear of the intake), you don't want that hooked to vacuum. It was never hooked to a vacuum source to begin with. It will cause a major loss of vacuum and would place the crank case under vacuum all the time.

huh? First time I heard that before, maybe for a chevy. It should only be under vacuum at idle or when you let off the gas. PVC releases the air pressure build up in the crank case also releases the oil smoke from the lifter gallery.
