For those who have done HPDE's before any advice for a first timer?

Joe Caselli runs the Nasa/PDA HPDE events. He is an unbelievable driver and a friend for the last 26 yrs. See if you can get him to take you for a couple of laps, you will learn so much more about driving in a few laps with Joe driving than you will learn the rest of the day. Tell him Big Joe from Mustang Magic told you to talk to him. P.S. Kiss him on the cheek for me LOL!!!

Hey Joe, I remember when I got my gears put in at your place a couple years ago, you told me once I do open track I'll never want to drag race again lol. Im hoping it's true.

are you still active in open track events. Do you participate in NASA or any other clubs? Maybe I'll see you out there this spring.

I'm more or less retired, but I try to make at least one PDA HPDE a year, either spring or Fall.

Well do you still have thos Wilwoods off your car i saw last time I was down there? Cause If you dont need them I can take them off your hands?

my advice for you on your first time just go out there and have fun . .get more comfortable with your car and by the end of the day start posting fast times!! Oh yea get good brake pads!
