I totally tanked last night at the Valley. Transmission shifts but the shifts are not firm crisp shifts that plant power. My launch / 60Ft sucks ROYAL ASS...
I need to make a decision on a transmission as soon as possible. I would like to order something this week and get it in the car next week so i can run it again with my current setup. I know i have asked Transmission ?'s in another thread but i really dont know what route to go..
Unfortunatley i dont like my options.. I have considered a C4 but i drove the car home last night and it has no top end without the OD... I would like to make the switch but i dont know what to do. I would like to stay auto but it looks like i need to sacrifice street driveability to do so.
Last night i was running with the OD off and by the tim i was hitting the traps it was up there close to redline... Im running 4.10's. Should I consider running 3.73's or 3.55's with a C4 or an AOD... or should i just keep the rear and leave it alone and have LenTech build me an AODE so everything lines up and works??? I already have an alum driveshaft / safety loop thats all setup and mounted for my current transmission setup.....
Any suggestions? I need to do something right away!! Should i consider going with a T5 or a T56??????
