My first Mustang!PLEASE HELP!!

Hey Just got a used.. salvage, 2003 mustang 4.6L V8. Love the car the engine runs great but.. But there was lots of exterior dmg from whatever accident the previous owner was in. First off he put some cheap looking body kit on which has a crack in the rear. There are some tiny side view mirrors on it, which have not been installed correctly and are also non functional. Rain seems to leak into the passenger side floor from some type of leak in the body somewhere, dont know where. And there is water in the headlight, so need new ones. DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD PLACE To Take my car? like specializes in mustangs? need to fix a leak, install headlights, install side views, possibly install new stock bumpers, chin spoiler, touch up paint, etc... also looking for a good site to order from.

Aside from the paint you are looking at a standard metric set of sockets and that is about it. Just do it yourself and save the hassle while gaining some knowledge.

Buy a Chilton's manual and read the how to section of this board.

a few options.... try partschannel 718 294 3131 for the lights /mirrors/ bumper parts

anything you cant get there get from the parts guy Jon he can get you anything you need at a discount including Ford parts

I've replaced both bumpers and headlights and it is def very do able even without a Chilton's but I'd suggest it. The only special tool would be a rivet gun for reinstalling the front bumper brackets.

I have some good body parts for sale.. 2002 Mustang GT hood with scoop, trunk with spoiler, front and rear bumpers. black, all ford parts and very good shape. I just listed them for sale on here.

latemodelrestoration has tons of shyt i uses them before never gave me a problem and i would try doing it yourself save money and stang knowledge n of course braggin rights

u will pay out your but taking that to the shop i can do the work just not the paint i dont do that im just one of thos back yard mec if u want to help i will show u to .

Dude I would do the work yourself. You'll have a lot more pride & fun doing it yourself. Believe me we all weren't born knowing how to do this.
