so we can get more stangs .
This is just a thought. There is a deposit on the shelter for August 2. It is a great looking shelter and the deposit will be lost if we do not use it. Either way we should plan on using the shelter that day. It could turn out to be a "meet and greet" session to introduce us Stngers to each other. I doubt that you can call up the State and ask them to change the reservation to another date without losing your deposit but I may be wrong. Either way we should plan on meeting at the shelter on August 2nd, rain or shine. no one can predict the weather, especillay this year.
Also is there anyone who has access to the other sites listed by 95GTS? If they could get it posted, it would really help.
Right now we have 25 people signed up for the cruise. We are half way there. If the weather is nice, I would expect us to make the 50 car goal.

Even if it is raining that day, we can still hang out and have a BBQ and we will still stay dry. The grills are right inside the pavilion. The restrooms are not far from the pavilion either. Silver spy has laid out $$ for the event and I am sure the park will not refund if raining. We all have to pay our share of the rental fee so I plan on being there either way. I just might not drive the stang though if its raining.
If it is raining I might have to pass, Mickey's and rain don't mix well, at least not for that far of a drive.
I am on those other sites 95gts mentions, and I honestly would only invite the moms and maybe the pops people. I know that this is already up on popsracing, might be on momsracing too i forget.

Here's a suggestion: Maybe we should each mail $5 to SilverSpy0 by the 27th to cover his costs. If you choose not to go IF it rains then you're only out 5 bucks and he's covered.

I agree with both statements.. As soon as I seen rain in this post I was "WTF.."
My opinion for what's worth:
I think it would be best for everyone to bring their own food & drink with something to share if they'd like. Oh yeah, maybe we should all bring a small bag of charcoal too........could be pretty important to operation !
I'm thinkin' this rally will be one that puts a face with a Stang and get to know each other. If we have a good turnout and get to know each other a little better, we can get more organized for future rally's.
Any thoughts?
