Summit does not sell BAP's.

I'm suprized you don't have a MAF upgrade and BAP.

What you need to do is some data logging to find out what is needed, so your not throwing away cash.

data logging on the dyno? as far as, a/f ratio's? im new to this and dont know what exactly to look for to be honest.

A/F yes, but more important MAF AD Counts, Fuel Pump Duty Cycle, Spark and what the injectors are doing.

You can log yourself on the street or dyno with the Xcal, and laptop. You can also set up a data capture with the xcal if you do not have a laptop. You need to go to www.sctflash.com, and download the latest version of Live Link, SCT's data loging software.

LOL, ya its fun i just dont know a ton about it and i really want to learn ... I ahve been playing with pushrod motors for too long.. I have a laptop but its older and slo, should i wipe it out and use it just for that?

If the laptop is old and slow, just use the xcal for data logging, that way the refresh rate is good.

If you go to SCT's web site they have directions. It is too complex for me to explain, I know it wouldn't come out right anyway. The best way is to just get out and do some hands on to understand how to do it.

Your going to need a USB cable to hook up the xcal to the computer to load the configuration file to the xcal and to get data from the xcal to the computer. Then you can pick the PID's you want to log, save them in a configuration file, then upload it to the xcal. Then hit the street, log away, come back and upload to the computer and review.

Wheel hop will kill a axle before traction will. I have done 6K dumps with ET Streets and stock half shafts.

^^^Yes, wheel hop isn't your friend and Plenty of people break the very expensive level 5 half shafts with drag radials. Drag radials have a stiff side wall and don't take any of the initial shock when you dump it. A Bias Ply tire like the ET Streets will absorb a lot of that initial shock when launching hard. The stock half shafts are fine if you use ET Streets...

Rob I would also definitely get a IRS Brace. The Diff covers are a weak point and have been known to crack in half just from street driving...If I were you It would be one of the first things I bought...
