I just picked up everything I had powder coated. Matt did a great job and was super fast. I ordered all the gaskets and seals I need and those should be here in a few days. I pick up the parts I had cleaned tomorrow or Thursday and should be able to put this part back together!

and i know it's going to be tough as shit,but take it easy for the first 500-750 miles brake that clutch in right

The parts came out great, glad you liked his work! Get some better pics with the camera though! When are we re-installing that stuff and sticking the beast on top?

I am going to say next Wednesday or Thursday. They are my next days off. I am sure I will have some of it done by then though. After all, my mornings before work are long.

Yea, true. When I have a day off I can go help LMAO. I do nothing in the AM so let me know. Donnie was giving me shit for not firing up my car yet since I just have to hook the battery up and the wideband wiring. Maybe when it is 40* out again.

yeah Dave told me about the guy who does the powdercoating...gonna get ahold of him to do some stuff for me soon. i love that black wrinkle finish...did you just ship it to him? b/c thats what ill have to do

Scott lives nearby, but I'm sure it would be fine shipping it to him. Get ahold of him and see what he says. He is a honest guy and very picky.

Yeah, like Dave said I live close. I didn't have to worry about shipping. Matt is super particular about his work. The casting on the bottom of the valve covers is pretty bad and although he knew it wouldn't show, he spent extra time sanding down the bad spots so it would look even better. I would imagine it wouldn't be a problem to ship it to him.

I took the lower intake and intercooler to a local engine rebuilder and had him run them through his parts washer to get the oil film/blow-by cleaned. It really wasn't bad but since everything is torn apart, it is the perfect time to do it.
I should start reassembling everything Wednesday! :headbang:

We actually are farther along than that, I forgot to take more pics. A few setbacks but overall it went smooth. That 2.6 is ALL THERE! I really like the black wrinkle valve covers alot, it goes great with the supercharger. Now time to take the rest of the pulleys off and do those too haha.
