Mid pipe question 95gt

Again I find myself looking at an exhaust question
The car already has on it a set of equal length shorties going into a 2 1/2 setup.

I just acquired a set of Kooks long tubes.

Now my question is this. Should I just hack off the old socket fittings and weld on a 3"?

Or just just find a 3" midpipe??

get the 3" midpipe. you dont wanna restrict the flow with the 2.5" midpipe

Yeah get the 3" midpipe. Too bad you weren't doing this a couple months ago, I had long tubes and mid pipe for a 94-95 but I sold them like 2 months ago.

Yep I know, go with the 3", but this is temporary until we get the full set up. I called KB today AGAIN!!!! and the S/C should be here by friday. We will see, it was supposed to be here last thursday. Damn there shipping sucks!!!
