Pictures of all the cars are great. Yeah recently I was telling two women at an event I have yet to figure out the system used for winning awards. As the last word was out of my mouth they called out "This next award goes to a 1984 white mustang foxbody." Better to just enjoy the day and forget about the awards and you just might get lucky and be blessed with a trophy lol 
....then you / your group should say something !!!
who is ASMC ....normally the host club is not included in the general population judging. only 1 or 2 ASMC cars should win ....and thats by popular vote.
how many nym'ers were with you .....theres always power in numbers....especially if you make your voice heard.

I don't mind that the club gets awards but I don't think they needed all the classes, maybe a top 10 would have been better.
What I didn't like is how they've turned a mainly Mustang/Ford show into an all makes show. They have eliminated Mustang only classes and grouped together Camaros, Challengers, Mustangs, etc..Its fine to have other cars at the show but they should be in separate classes. They are the ones beginning to dominate the show and therefore being more catered to. Like I said, there are other all makes shows in this area.
Now this one is just my personal feeling, I know others like judged shows but I don't have a chance at this type of judging based on cleanliness and condition. I drive my car in the rain and drive it a lot. Its not perfectly clean, its got rock chips etc..So if you're going to check my trunk, open my doors and look in every nook and cranny, you're going to find evidence of driving. It would be nice for car shows to acknowledge these types of cars but unfortunately its always the sunny day cars, barely driven, new and shiny, or cars with all sorts of props. How about giving credit to some cars that are in good shape for their model year, have done some tasteful mods, etc.. Some people spend a lot of time/money on their cars and never get recognition. Sadly, you don't see a lot of these cars at shows for that reason. I don't care about getting a trophy anymore, but I 'm not going to spend tons of time cleaning it, waiting around all day to see if I've got a trophy when I've got 0% chance. And by the way, I'm in the 05 - present class so I got to compete with all the shiny new cars.
Maybe I'm just plain done doing shows.. :idk:

ASMC Had their own classes- AA - FF. And they still had at least 1/3 of the trophys awarded, even with 1/5 the cars.
For a MUSTANG CLUB sponsored event, they need to keep the MUSTANG ONLY classes.
I also agree with dawn on the judging- I dont think im even going to bother bringing a car at all next year. My car was DD'd for years, and yes it may be a somewhat clean example, why spend 15 bucks on the goody bag? Theres no way I ahve a chance against the garage queens that see 2k a year, if that. As seen by the 73 Mach, i prefer cars that HAVE rock chips and history- Id rather hear "This i from when the car caught fire and...." then "this one time, my car was in the garage AND IT RAINED! I JUST FREAKIN RAINED! Can you believe it?" Maybe I should have entered the Volvo that my mom just bought, since they only judge on cleanliness and such. Hell, Im willing to bet that even if my car was factory-showroom correct (Screw that, I being a unique Mustang), it would lose because of 'points deduction, 2 cylinders missing'
I still ask- the ASMC cars are all peoples choice. Would it be so difficult to put in 1-2 peoples choice classes for everyone else?

Ted, none of us are saying make it mustang only or peoples choice again. We're saying make Mustang only CLASSES (seeing as you know, its a mustang club, a ford dealer hosting, etc), and make it an OPTION to be in a peoples choice class. Its no different the at JB when its a ton of the classic guys winning because thats what the classic non-mustang drivers like and vote for.

I'll assume you all got a comment card in your goody bag or attached to your entry form. Maybe it would be more constructive to let the host club officials how you feel and offer suggestions to them so that things can be altered for next year.

I wasn't able to make it this year to the show because I was playing in my band that day, but honestly, I just go into shows figuring I'm not going to get an award anyway.
Bringing my car to the show and walking around checking out the sweet rides there and seeing people admiring my car and others cars, hanging out with my friends, and meeting new poeple is the best part! Doesn't matter if I get a trophy or not really, sure it would be cool, but it's still a lot of fun. Just like Harbor House, we don't go there expecting to win a trophy..that's because there aren't any!

Really?????? Only 2 cars!!?? I'm personally a little surprised by that!
