Hi all, just bought a pristine '04 GT with the 40th anniversary package and all the trimmings. My Mach 460 in dash unit (w/6 disc) is satellite compatible, but the XM Snap unit I bought so I could transfer my XM service from my previous car without delay leaves quite a bit to be desired in signal clarity and sound quality. What is involved, both timewise and $$$ wise in making the head unit receive a direct signal?
I have been told there is a module that can only be secured from a factory parts dealer. I am interested in keeping my Mustang bone stock so swapping for an aftermarket unit is not an option. Any and all input from my fellow owners would be appreciated. Thanks!!
