Mac or BBK Longtubes n mid pipe?

yahh i'm looking for a set of longtubes and mid pipe..dont want nothing expensive..idk if i should do MAC longtubes with o/r H or BBK Longtubes with o/r H. I like the loudness of the X but i think the X is a little to raspy for me on the downshift but open to idea's if someone has a sound clip...
all i got right now is American thunder flowmaster catback...was wondering if thier was one that fit better than the other? or ne thing that would make the decision easier?

I've had my Mac L/T's on my car since 02 with no problems. I also have an o/r H pipe and love it.

None really outperform the other unless you go with stepped. Just find the one that offers a stainless steel variant that is cheaper.

I would get the MAC longtubes with the o/r Prochamber midpipe. Nice and deep while cruising, not raspy at all, but when you kit it it comes undone!

Ceramic coatings come off and they are good for lowering under hood temperatures but stainless steel will last a whole lot longer.

I would get the MAC longtubes with the o/r Prochamber midpipe. Nice and deep while cruising, not raspy at all, but when you kit it it comes undone!

I had a MAC exhaust on the car (headers back) and it rotted off the car in 2 1/2 years. They were "cearmic coated" and the car sees VERY little rain and has always been garaged.

If you want high quality, look at Kooks/American Racing/Bassani etc. But youre going to pay for it..

If you go MAC I would, if you go with magnaflow, kooks, bassani, etc I think you'd be fine w/ the ceramic coated stuff. I just had a bad experience w/ them....but it's just one example. Other guys may have had good experiences w/ mac.

Macs are very cost effective. I have a Mac exhaust setup on my car and love it. Longtubes,Prochamber and Catback exhaust. 5 years no problems. Just keep your undercarriage clean and you should be fine.

Yea, I had just the painted MAC what they used to sell as silicon high temp and it was still looking good when I sold the car. I put it all on in '99-00 and sold the car 2 years ago or so.

If all you are looking for is it not to rust then get stainless steel. There is nothing better out there.

Your car never see's rain.....but with what Floyd said, as long as you take care of everything, you should be fine.
