nice car and nice job on the cleaning. doubt it was that shiny the day you picked it up. what wax (and other cleaners) did you use? I need to give my car a good once over. have a bunch of Zaino wax but it's been a while since I last used it. not sure how long that stuff lasts and I may go with something that is more readily available.
Thanks guys, haha didn't even look close to the way it does now although it was snowing back when i got it lol.
On the tires I used Meguiars Gold class tire shine.
For the wheels I used ICE All tire cleaner, that stuff does magic (smells like crap though). Highly suggested to pop off the wheels and use that stuff on the inside of the wheel wells. Makes the car seem brand new since you can see the whole wheel.
For the entire body I used Zymol Natural Liquid Cleaner wax. A bit expensive for zymol products however you get what you pay for. I am very very impressed with this wax for a few different reasons. First of all it's natural, and made with high quality ingredients. This wax leaves your car with a buttery smooth feel that lasts for monthsss, removes swirls and small scratches, while giving you an unbeatable high gloss shine.
Heres basically how zymol works, atleast the one I used. This impressed me a lot:
First of all I personally put three coats on each body panel one at a time obviously. After each coat I buffed it in with multiple microfiber towels. After I buffed in each coat I'd lay another coat ontop and start all over again. Once all the coats were buffed in I took a hose (Since it is a natural wax) and selected the "Mist" Feature. Very very Very lightly sprayed a mist of water onto each body panel barely getting it wet. Since it is natural once you buff in this mist of water, it allows the natural wax to settle into the paint allowing for an even higher gloss and longer lasting protection. My cars paint is so smooth now you can't even put a towel on it without it sliding off.
