I finally got around to working on the video from my time trial at Limerock back in September. Its going to take a while to sort through all the video and cut out all the dead time (5 minutes of the camera rolling each time while I'm stopped in the pit waiting to go out, etc). So in the meantime, here's a short clip showing two laps near the end of the day when the traffic cleared out.
On a good lap we're hitting over 100 mph at 4 spots on the track:
On the back "straight" (with the right-left zigzag) we reach about 105 before the braking zone before the righthander and accellerating up the hill.
The back wheels get almost airborne and lose traction and you hear the engine rev at the top of the hill. The car also tends to get really sideways there if you don't straighten out before the crest of the hill.
Back up to 99-100 mph on the short straight before the right hander, then back hard on the gas coming out of the corner under the bridge and down the hill where we reach about 104 mph.
Slow down a little for the corner at the bottom of the hill and then back up to 130 on the front straight before standing on the brakes hard for turn 1.
