If you have never done gears before it is probabaly a good idea to have some one else do them that will let you watch and explain or just have someone help you that has done it before. I have no doubt you could do it but explaining it is tough. You need an install kit complete with bearings, seals and shims. You would also need a dial indicator with some way to attach it to the rear end housing (I use a magnetic base) so you can check backlash. Not very hard stuff but it takes some patients.
